Nvidia Issues Driver Warning

Nvidia says that a version of its drivers may cause overheating. The warning applies to the 196.75 version drivers for its GeForce graphics cards. According to Nvidia, the buggy drivers could cause overheating and lead to Windows crashes. Apparently it has something to do with the fan powering down in inappropriate circumstances.
- Nvidia is aware that some customers have reported problems after installing version 196.75 of our drivers. We have removed this version from our website and replaced them with an updated version, it says on the Nvidia support site.
Nvidia tells their users to check their drivers and install the latest version, which is version number 197.13, alternatively roll back to a previous one. Nvidia link.
